PE6 Mushroom Strain Origin
Penis Envy 6 (PE6) was created by Shroomery’s guru and trusted cultivator “RogerRabbit” by crossing Penis Envy with TX Orange Cap. The goal was to create a Penis Envy variety that produces more spores while maintaining its classic phallic structure. PE6 can be considered a fun iteration of the classic Penis Envy and makes great research material for intermediate and expert mycologists.

PE6 is definitely not an easy strain to work with. In fact, it is considered quite tricky to study because of its unpredictable behavior and slow speed relative to other strains. However, there are few strains as rewarding to research as PE6 mushrooms are. Spore Features
The spores of the PE6 are dark purplish to black, with a sub-ellipsoid shape on a 4-spored basidia. Caps are generally dark spore printers and 40-60mm in diameter.
Penis Envy 6 does not produce many spores compared to more common P. cubensis strains, and thus its spores are valuable for anyone’s collection.
Rarity
The PE6 strain is not that rare in regard to its availability. However, it’s rare to find PE6 mushroom spores with proven, tested genetics. Many vendors will provide mixed bags, old or viable spores, or give you a different species all together in an effort to offload their unwanted inventory.
