Strain Origin
Not much is known about the origin of this strain, other than the fact that its original genetics were discovered in the pacific island of Fiji. Fiji is located in Oceania, not too far from Australian & New Zealand. This beautiful, tropical island has a lot of indigenous tradition as well as the perfect climate for psilocybe mushrooms. Naturally, the strain is considered to be a portal into all things Fiji, including but not limited to the mystique & proud heritage of its people. This is a beginner strain that makes a great addition to anyone’s research collection. 
Difficulty
Fiji is a relatively easy strain to work with, and makes a solid option for beginners, intermediates, and experts alike.
Spore Features
The spores of Fiji mushrooms are dark purplish to black, and sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia.  Under the microscope, they are extremely beautiful. 
Rarity 
Fiji spores are not that rare in regard to their availability. However, it is rare to find them with proven, tested genetics. Many vendors will provide mixed bags, old / unviable spores, or give you a different species all together in an effort to offload their unwanted inventory. We’ve been supplying syringes since 2008, and have a team of mycologists ensuring the authenticity of every batch.
